BEAUTY BAY | THE NEW ERA OF BEAUTY BUYING

Before I start this post, I need to ask you a very important question. Have you ever been to www.beautybay.com? If not, stop reading immediately and go. Go see what you’ve been missing out on! I don’t remember the last time I bought makeup from a drugstore, (a little American of me but it has become the generic term) such as Boots or Superdrug. This post isn’t about slagging them off because obviously, they are great too. However, Beauty Bay have invented a new era of beauty buying and I wholeheartedly believe that. There are hundreds of places you can fulfil your makeup craving but none like Beauty Bay.

Beauty Bay had the ingenious idea of bringing brands together that you wouldn’t necessarily find anywhere else. The brands that you can’t easily find on the high street (or even in the UK), those that have something unique to offer. Run by an every growing team in Manchester, they started out small and are rapidly growing every day.

What draws me to the brand the most, is how they wear their passion on their sleeves. They aren’t in the business to simply make money, they are in it to make change. Some of you might roll your eyes and wonder how much of a difference makeup and skincare can make so let me tell you. We all have our own passions and loves, we each find joy in different things and different places. This industry is about expression and artistry. As much as the beauty industry has helped lower my bank balance, in a way it also saved my life. Before I discovered my love for beauty and skincare I was at a very low point in my life. For a long time, it was the only thing I was able to pay attention to and find joy in.

Beauty Bay have over 10,000 products available online and this is forever growing. They use customer demand and new trends to determine what to bring next to their very own beauty scene. I can’t get enough of it. This is in no way a sponsored post, I truly love this brand and everything it stands for. Last year I was lucky enough to attend a bloggers event with Beauty Bay. The people behind the brand that were present, were all so passionate about what they do and where the brand is headed. Every time I get an email notifying me of a new product launch, I feel dread as well bounds of joy, (so much choice, never enough money!).

I’ve not actually purchased anything from Beauty Bay but now seeing that they have Milani available on it is making me fall in love! I’m also obsessed with brands like Zoeva and Makeup Geek which used to be so hard to get ahold of! xx

I love buying from Beauty Bay and especially because they have so many brands you can’t find anywhere else. I love how they sometimes make thematic boxes or collections as well – I bought a best of USA box that featured many brands I hadn’t tried before, such as Gerard Cosmetics, LA Splash and Make Up Geek. The only negative thing is that I’ve seen many people struggle with customer service, e.g returning items. I’ve personally never had any problems, however, and will continue buying from them! 🙂

I agree, they’ve completely changed the game. I love being able to buy American and European brands I can’t access on the high street.
