I hope you are sitting down, I wouldn’t want you to collapse with shock. Today, I am bringing you a fashion post. FASHION. I’ve dabbled, (what a horrible word) with these in the past but it is something I want to write more about. I’m not too happy with these pictures but an unwilling husband makes no photographer, I had a train to catch and I certainly am not Gigi. Just a girl totally venturing out of her comfort zone here.
A couple of weeks ago I had a train to catch to London, (see what I got up to here) and had this idea of taking pictures of my outfit before I left for the station. I was battling a few things that day. First trip by myself off my depression & anxiety meds. First blog event since surgery. First time trying to look ‘stylish’ since surgery. This was the look I came up with. On the day, I felt so confident in what I was wearing. A few pieces on trend, no wobbly bits on show and I even remembered jewellery.
I managed to get my hands on the M&S number of the month, their fluted sleeve jumper, (which also comes in grey). It is softer than you could ever imagine and it brought out the sass in me I had never before discovered. Flute sleeves are massively on trend at the moment and this jumper not only ticks the style box but the comfort one too. I have been after a pair of tassled hem jeans since I first saw a pair. It was simply a matter of being able to get in them. I had to SQUEEZE my thighs, tush and tummy into these jeans but boy was it worth it. I mean, I couldn’t breathe all day but no pain, no gain right? My most favourite purchase of 2017 so far. They look very fancy with a pair of heeled boots too.
\\ Let me know if for some reason, you would like me to post more about fashion on this little blog of mine //
