I don’t really like shopping in the sales. They are SO chaotic, they never have my size in anything I like and most of the time it is generally rubbish anyway. Not online! It is easy, stress free and I am learning to love it. I received some Christmas money this year and decided to have a little look online to see if I could grab any bargains. I only bought a few things, but I am very pleased with what I managed to find!
Lancome’s ‘La vie est belle’ is one of my favourite perfumes but it is quite pricey. This gift set from Boots was on offer from £62 to £41.33 and includes a 50ml of the perfume, a mini and a body lotion! The perfume itself is around the £60 mark so I didn’t need to think twice about buying – especially since I have just come to the end of a bottle of it!
I saw this scarf in Accessorize a few months ago but knew I didn’t really need another scarf and definitely not one that was £25. I then saw it on the website the other day and it had been reduced to £18, I remembered how much I liked it when I first saw it and into the basket it went! It is HUGE but very snuggly and soft! The colours are very easy on the eye and will go with a lot of different looks, making it easy to style.
Also from Accessorize, I bought this beaded clutch bag. It was £35 reduced to £10.50. I originally saw this when we went to Dublin but could not justify spending so much on a clutch. When I saw it was on sale for just over ten pounds I have literally never completed a checkout process quicker! It is so beautiful and so unique.
Last but not least, a purchase influenced by Caroline Hirons, (again!). Temple Spa are not a brand I have ever tried anything from before but had heard good things about. I saw Caroline tweet that they were on offer, 2 for 1, and bought two before I had even read her review – that is how much I trust the woman’s opinion! Normally £28 a pop, I got two of the ‘In The Beginning’ Cleansing Melts for the same price as one! I have high hopes for this, plus when the package arrived it included chocolates!
They are all my sale purchases I made in this year’s January sales. January is such a strange month. Everything seems to be on offer, nobody wants to be back at work, it is cold but we don’t have Christmas to look forward to! But, everyday counts, try to enjoy every second. It does help to do a little bit of retail therapy though, especially when you find a bargain!
