Last year, Tommy surprised me with a Charlotte Tilbury Advent Calendar. I couldn’t believe it! It was really difficult to wait until the 1st of December to open the first box! Even the packaging was luxurious, everything about it was beautiful. I know we are now in January and nobody wants to hear anything about Christmas or December, but as this post is not only beauty, but Charlotte Tilbury, I thought it might be an exception.
Inside each of the 12 boxes was a delightful little Charlotte Tilbury product, I have grouped them into categories to share them with you.
Skincare is something I had never before tried from the brand and was very excited when there were quite a few different skincare bits included. Above are –
Goddess Skin Clay Mask
Multi-Miracle Glow (Cleanser, Mask & Balm)
Supermodel Body (Shape, Hydrate & Glow)
Below are the two products I was most excited about. Charlotte Tilbury is a high end, luxury brand, although I do think most of the products are reasonably priced – you get what you pay for. The Magic Cream is around £90 a pot, and the night cream is a brand new release at a similar cost. I have wanted to see what the hype was about for a long time, but couldn’t afford to spend that much on a skincare product. Now I am able to try both and I cannot wait!
Inside were also a little lip balm, (Lip Magic) and the ‘Take It All Off’ eye makeup remover. I have heard great things about both so I am excited to try them.
Then we come to the beauty bits – the best part! Part of me does wish there was more beauty included, but I suppose we are all different and they can’t please everybody. I just know I would get a lot more use out of an eyeshadow stick say, than the body lotion. However, the beauty bits that were included are wonderful and I cannot wait to use them! They are –
Wonderglow (A primer)
NOCTURNAL CAT EYES Eye Shadow: On The Prowl
Mini ROCK ‘N’ KOHL Eye Liner: Supernova
Mini K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick: Penelope Pink
MATTE REVOLUTION Lipstick: Red Carpet Red
I may have squealed when I opened the boxes that contains the lipsticks, especially the mini one! I can’t remember the last time I saw something so adorable! I think beauty advent calendars are a wonderful way to try lots of different products. This was a complete surprise which I felt very lucky to receive, but I must say although it was quite pricey, the cost is completely justified, (if you are a beauty lover like me!). Do let me know if you would like a more in depth review of any of the products mentioned!
