If you haven’t already heard of the delight that is Fleur de Force, she is a Beauty Blogger & Vlogger who has a huge presence and following online. Fleur was actually the first ‘YouTuber’ I had ever watched and I have been a subscriber of her channel for years now.
Her honest views and informative videos, in my opinion, make her one of the best out there. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and comes across very genuine and relatable in all of her videos. Fleur has had massive success this year, she has over 1 million YouTube subscribers, has written a book and now has products on the shelves in Boots! Just this month, Fleur has released a range of eyelashes with Eylure. The brand is by far my favourite to go to when I need some new falsies!
Fleur’s range includes 3 sets of eyelashes and a pack of individuals. The packaging is lovely – all pastel colours!
The first I want to mention are ‘Simply Fleur’ and these are the most natural of the bunch, but they look so lovely and fluttery. They also have an invisible band which makes it even more difficult to tell you are wearing flash eyelashes.
The ‘Fleur Loves’ design is Fleur’s favourite set in the range. They are nothing like I have seen before when it comes to false eyelashes – they are so unusual. I can’t wait to wear these and see what effect they have!
The most dramatic from the range are the ‘Fleur & Fabulous’ lashes. I recently wore these to a wedding (see here, about 2 minutes in) and I received so many compliments on them! I didn’t need to trim them down and they were so easy to apply. They are really full and very black but then have tapered tips which just softens them a little. It didn’t look obvious that I was wearing false lashes, I feel like they added the ‘oomph’ that I wanted without looking ridiculous, like some false lashes can!
The last in the range are the ‘Couture Fleur’ individual lashes which I am probably most excited about! I love Eylure’s individual lashes – they are the only ones I use. These look even more amazing and I hope they influence future individuals released by the brand! Firstly, they are knot free, which means they are glued at the top rather than tied – making them look incredibly natural. Fleur has then made the pack two thirds medium length – HOORAH! Who else buys a packet of individual eyelashes and runs out of medium length straight away and throws most of the longer ones away? Well now we don’t need to! They also come with a special glue which is different to the latex based one you get in normal packs of lashes. This is meant to allow the lashes to stay in place for 2-3 days! Amazing.
The lash range by Fleur de Force is available at Boots online here & also instore. They range from £5.25 to £6.95. I can’t wait to try the rest! Have you tried the new collection yet?
