Barry M has been one of my favourite drugstore brands for a while and I often think it is one that gets left behind. Aside from the amazing and vast range of nail varnishes they offer, their makeup line is seriously climbing the ranks. Their newest launch comes in the form of a new line of lipsticks called ‘Satin Superslick Lip Paints‘. Yes, the name is quite a mouthful but the product itself is lovely. They are a bargain at £4.49.

I bought two of the six shades available, being 170, Mauve It & 171, Berry-licious. You barely need to touch the lips with the lipstick to achieve instant colour pay off. The lipsticks are very pigmented and the two colours I have are lovely, especially for this time of year.

The formula of the lip paints includes Shea Butter and Vitamin E which make them really comfortable to apply and to wear. They feel moisturising and do not dry the lips at all, they certainly have a satin finish. The look they give the lips is quite glossy but not too over the top, they almost look like you have used more products than just the one lipstick. They last a reasonable length of time on the lips and wear off perfectly, without leaving any stains or crusty bits – we don’t like those! They are something a little bit different but they have been formulated very well and the six shades are very on trend and wearable too.Barry M Superslick Lip Paint 170 Mauve It
