I quite often, (okay always!) like to have a mooch online to see what new products are launching and what I need to rush out to buy next. I also have a tendency to place an online order when something takes my fancy and in my latest Superdrug order I bought a couple of new launches from Eylure. They are exclusive to Superdrug and as they have been on a half price offer of late, are selling out quite quickly.
I went for the more voluminous of the lashes, as I feel that if I am going to the effort to wear a false lash I might as well go all out. The new Express Lashes from Eylure are pre-glued, supposedly making them faff free and easy to apply. The packaging is nothing fancy, but really easy to get into. Once you are in you simply have to pull the lash strip away from the plastic tray it is moulded on which you have to do carefully in order not to misshape the lash. Then you apply it – straight away. No need for glue, waiting for the glue to go tacky or to dry transparently once on the lids.
It is actually astounding at how easy it was to apply these lashes. There are no steps, you just pop them straight where you want them. The quality of the lash and the finish of them are just what you would expect from Eylure, they are soft and fluttery and have that added lift at the ends. The lashes lasted all day and were easy to remove. I left them on the side in the bathroom for about two weeks before I wore them again, I wanted to see how long the glue would stay sticky for. When I came to reapply they went on just as easily as they had the first time. I think I could get away with wearing them a third time, although I normally only re-use false lashes once.
For those of you who are new to false lashes or don’t want to mess around with glue, give these a try, especially whilst they are half price!
