IT’S CHRISTMAS!

It feels like it has been a jolly old time since I have written a blog post and boy, have I missed it. I couldn’t let Christmas go by without giving it a mention so here I am writing a rather unorganised and last minute post. I haven’t really thought about what I want to say but I thought we could have a little catch up.

By now you probably all have your presents wrapped and are sitting on the sofa with a drink in hand and a chocolate biscuit or mince pie in the other! I have had a really cosy and chilled out day today. Since having my surgery, I had a few days of not being able to do anything. I couldn’t even sit up myself! So the minute I gained more strength and energy I have put it to use.

We have been making more improvements to the house this week, plastering, painting and tiling the roof! It has been a little hectic but luckily was all finished in time meaning today could be a lot slower paced. I only have two more presents to wrap and then we are off to my sister-in-law’s to sleep there and spend Christmas morning with Charlie, (our little nephew). The Christmas lights are on, the candles are lit and I couldn’t feel more cosy or festive!

Surgery update – I had my staples removed yesterday! I tried to be very brave but I was petrified. It didn’t hurt one bit. I’m a lot comfier now and not really in any pain, just achy. I am down 15lbs and managing fine on the food and meds. I feel so lucky that so far this whole thing has been relatively smooth going for me.

We are having a New Year’s Eve party this year and although I can’t indulge in the food or drink I am so excited! I have bought lots of decorations and little trinkets from Not on The High Street, the food is all planned and everybody has been told to bring a bottle. I can’t wait to have a house full of the people we love lots! I am unsure how much vlogging I am going to be doing between now and New Year but I do want to get at least one up. Although I have been MIA on my blog for a couple of weeks I have been putting up new videos quite frequently on my YouTube channel, which you can see here if you are interested!

I have a list of things I want to do and improve on in 2017. One of them is to blog more regularly. I absolutely love it and if other people can manage to post so often as well as doing a million other things, there is no reason I can’t. I am going to get organised and get better at this. So I really hope you all stick with me next year to see how it goes!

On Christmas Day, my most favourite thing about being with family is seeing them open their presents. I wouldn’t mind if I didn’t get any myself, I just love giving presents to people. I have wrapped SO many this year, I hope they all bloody like them!. Where ever you may be spending your Christmas I hope you have the most magical day. Savour every moment because we have to wait another 364 days for the next one!
