Christmas with Crabtree & Evelyn

Last week I was invited down to London by Crabtree & Evelyn to have a look at their Christmas range for this year. When I first received the invite, I must admit, I wasn’t overly excited. I had heard of the brand before but it was never one that I had tried or really had much interest in. However, part of the reason this blog and my YouTube channel are so much fun is because I get the chance to try new things. I am very open minded and will not disregard any brand or product before I tried it for myself!

 

I made my way down to London and headed straight to the Ham Yard Hotel which was where the event was being held. On first look I was completely blown away, the hotel was stunning. The room which was being used for the launch was packed with products and Christmas decorations and it felt SO festive! I was greeted by the lovely Charlotte who took me round the different products and talked to me a little about them. I always thought that Crabtree & Evelyn was a brand for the older generations, a brand which sold nice soaps and body wash for those of a certain age to enjoy. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

 

The emphasis around this launch is magic and believing in such a thing. Every product has been designed with this in mind and when I was their it certainly felt special. It was almost like going back in time, to when I was a little girl. there products and their packaging are so traditional, it felt like Crabtree & Evelyn had taken Christmas back to its purest form.

The brand is launching three home fragrances this Christmas; Noel, Sugar and Spice (my favourite) & Windsor Forest. They have diffusers and room sprays available but I am most excited about the candles. They come in various sizes and they smell divine. All of the products are made with natural ingredients, which for me, is a massive plus.

Walking around this collection, it honestly felt like they had thought of everything. From the little stocking fillers to the more expensive gift sets, there is something for everyone. One of the lines available come in a tin which can be hung on the Christmas tree and inside there are two hand creams. Priced at just £9.00 I think these would make a lovely little gesture! Then there are the tiny Christmas crackers which include a hand cream which will retail for £5.00 and I am definitely snapping up the Sugar and Spice fragrance in this! If I dare to ruin the dreamy packaging!

They have designed the most beautiful, festive looking gift wrapping options which come in the form of boxes and bags. This are included with any Christmas purchase you make, so will save you the hassle of wrapping!

Who knew Crabtree & Evelyn did food?! And not just any food, but luxurious looking & tasting with the cutest gingerbread biscuits too! These are available in gift sets too, a lovely present for a food lover!

The thing about all of the offerings from the brand is that they all look, in my opinion, so much more expensive than they are. They all look incredible and have such a festive feel about them. I walked out of the product launch feeling so happy that I went. It wasn’t just a lovely afternoon spent with lovely people who were passionate about the brand, but I also had my mind changed. This is a brand suitable for all ages, with cute packaging and delicious smelling (& tasting where the food is concerned!) products. For me, the brand have completely achieved what it was they set out to do, bring back the magic of Christmas through beautifully designed and smelling products. I have already picked a few things out for some people on my Christmas list!
