It’s April. A new month – a perfect excuse to start afresh. Some of you probably thought I was never coming out of hibernation, but I here I am. It is true what they say, time really does not wait for anyone and certainly not for me. I thought it was about time I came out of my slump and got back to doing what I love. I suppose we all need a break from time to time.
So here I am. Sometimes this whole blogging thing gets a little overwhelming. Little fish, big pond thoughts seep into my brain every day. Frequently. The blogging community is now so mammoth and fast paced it would be hard not to feel a little lost from time to time. So, I am going to try to put my energy into remembering why I do this in the first place. It makes me happy, it is a wonderful, creative way in which I am able to express myself and I love it.
We are currently redecorating and moving rooms around in the house – my office is being relocated! I have asked for a new camera for my birthday, I have more of a drive and focus than I have had for a while. I am excited! The year isn’t over it and I am determined to make the most of it. Hopefully you will see some changes and improvements in camera quality and content!
How is it April already? I know it is so cliche and overdone for me to say where does the time go, but really, where does it? Spring is my favourite time of year. I love the winter months but I am usually about ready for a change by the time daffodils make an appearance. People just seem lighter, happier. The days become longer but not in ways that drag. The bulbs we planted start to grow and mini eggs make their comeback. It is hard not to feel motivated and high spirited, especially when mini eggs make their comeback.
This was just a little post to say hello, that I am still here and I am sticking around. Whatever it is you have planned today I hope it goes the way you hope it will. Take a moment to appreciate those daffodils, they will be gone before you know it.
